And yes, I have most lazily left my laptop entirely on Pacific time. It's not this early here. Last night was so cool! We left at about 5 pm. We hit the mall and the mall's food court, wandered around, and I got another book (I've had more time than feared this trip) and some other little stuff.

We didn't come in this morning till 9 / 10. We were supposed to meet at 10 but M didn't set his clock back and C was ready at 9 so they came over; A and I came over at 10 as planned. His flight was delayed so badly that he got in at 3 am, so he was really glad to hear we weren't doing a 7-am thing.

It's looking pretty good. I'm feeling pretty good, because there is not a lot for us to do at all. Maybe it could go crazy at some point, but right now the feeling is very comfortably relaxed.

It's actually only 5:40, local, but still. Late enough. But we left at 2:00 and didn't come back until 5:00; I had a good lunch of clam chowder and then a short nap, and I've had my maple sugar candy, and I'm happy enough wtih that. Hopefully tonight will go really smoothly and there won't be much for us to do. The system sure looked clean to me so, as long as it performs cleanly for them, we're good and I'll have to change my tickets from Tuesday to Wednesday but no more.

M's brother and his wife are out here travelling the coast; they didn't know where they were staying tonight, so now M talked them into staying at our hotel. He's spending time with them now, they got up into NH about 3:15 or so. He was going to try to be back here at 5:00 and I told him no way. He had to drop us off after the hotel a bit after 3:30 (we had to finish eating, pay the bill, drive up), then drive down to where they were and meet them (15-30 minutes drive time, plus finding where they are). If he had to come back at 5, that would be stupid. We had A pick us up at the hotel around 5:00 instead and told M we would call him if he were needed here but otherwise, if nothing's found, I can sit and be the "in case of emergency, must have programmer body present" person.

I've caught up on reading LJ entries (since I had no work email, no code tasks, and very little brain, plus it's Sunday), so so far, I haven't billed any time to anything for work this evening. I only bill the sitting-here part of it if I can't find anything else to do. I'm being very good about finding other things to do, right now. Hopefully by the time I run out of relatively non-thought things to do, I'll have a task, or be thinking clearly enough to pick up one of the work or non-work things pending my attention, but since it's Sunday and I'll be working a full week, plus I worked a lot yesterday, I really do not feel obligated.

I leave client site now. Go get dinner, then go hotel.

My laptop is on Pacific time. I'm on the east coast. I leave the rest of the details up to the observer.
