The sun is rising. When I first got up, it was dark. My first clue that it was foggy today was a bit later, when the slight greying acquired a green line and it looked like something out of a bad supernatural (non-horror) movie. Pretty, but eerie.

Now, I can see the fog is not thick (or not near me) as it enshrouds the trees and objects across the pasture but nothing nearer. It's a pale grey; then, above the treetops, the sun touches it to peach and cream; and the sky shades into pale blue and then dark blue above.

It's rather pretty. Not stunning, but pretty.

I'm happy. And I'm finding I'm enjoying the 100-things meme more now that I'm not trying to do it. I like reading about my friends and learning more about them. You guys are so cool!

First day back to work. Guess I better finish getting ready and go face it. Wish me luck, please?

Actually, today shouldn't be too bad. Unless there's a crisis, I will spend the first half weeding through all those emails.... Oh, and filing my time for the end of last week. (If I hadn't filed the beginning of last week before I left, I'd be in for a talk, as that would mess up year-end tallies, but....)

Tonight is a cleaning night. I have been working on the craft room, including things that were never unpacked after the move.

During the move, I lost track of my copy of Land of Eight Million Dreams. I still had my notes, but I'd lost the copy, despite clear memories of carefully packing it.

For some reason (probably while cleaning the living room), it ended up in with a bunch of magazines I used for scrap pictures. I have my book back! I have it I have it I have it!
