Sunsets and fountains and pictures, oh my!

The sunset tonight was really cool. I got a chance to take a couple shots of it before it vanished, even - well, not really the sunset so much as the dusk period after, I guess. And yes, in the second shot, that is not time delay, the clouds just looked like that. Very odd, very cool.



And, in other picture modes, I am making a tabletop fountain. When I mentioned them recently, I was asked about what they are and did a search for sites to link to. I found a technique at one of them that I hadn't used before, or thought about. So I tried it. It works surprisingly well. This is NOT a finished fountain. It holds water, pumps it up, and gets it back in the bowl. I sorta need to, y'know, hide the stuff that makes sure there's plenty of room for water and that debris doesn't go into the pump, though, with some decorative items. Either that or have a really weird fountain.
