Scott's home - he flew back yesterday. His gaming group is downstairs now, laughing, generally being noisy.
It's glorious. I don't play in the games, and so far I haven't wanted to, but I rather like when they're over here. It's nice listening to them having fun (and taking advantage of pizza being ordered in...).
The library had two more books I'd placed a hold on available (including The Prince of Dreams, sequel to The Prince of Shadows that I so much enjoyed). I'm only barely avoiding the urge to place so many holds I'd never dig out of the book list I'd accumulate, but I do like having (and remembering that I have) a good library.
Other than that, not a lot to say. I'm on call this week at the second level for the first time, and it feels totally different. Much more relaxed. I don't think about it except to make sure I have the phone - and I haven't gotten a call yet.
Work is work, basically. I feel like I'm perpetually losing track of things, because there's more than I can manage that I'm supposed to be managing, while doing my tasks. Boy will I be glad when my boss has come up to speed on some things, as some of this tracking is only mine 'cos he can't do it yet.
Monday's a holiday. I'm looking forward to this weekend a great deal, even if I have no clue what I'm doing with it, and even if I'm on call.
