1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short?
Naturally it's wavy, but it's very long, and therefore quite straight from its own weight. It was wavy when I was younger and it was shorter, and the waves are still there, just much flattened so that they're not noticeable until you go looking and lift bits of hair to take weight off things.
2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime?
When I was young, it was often short, sometimes permed (a process I came to hate; the chemicals were nasty; and yet I wanted it because I liked having the perm, go figure ). From about fifth or sixth grade on, it's only steadily grown and occasionally been chopped even/trimmed, a state of affairs I'm quite happy with.
3. How do your normally wear your hair?
Long, loose. No bangs (not in years and years). Second-most common is a braid, to keep it out of the way, when doing yardwork or exercising.
4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like?
Nonononono. Get AWAY from my HAIR.
Ahem. I wouldn't. If I could change it and know I could get it back just as it was, I might see what I'd look like with a shorter cut, or curls, or both; I might even try dying it. But there's a reason I don't do this, and that is that I cannot magically get it back as it is, and I quite like it this way.
5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened?
Not really. I suppose a perm when I was young, that was supposed to last for three months and I think only made it a week or two before it frizzed entire, and stuck that way. Fortunately, it didn't hang around as frizz for the whole three months or whatever. My hair was just too something for that perm.
