I miss Scott - he is having a gaming weekend with his friends - but he has hopefully had a good time and will be home sometime today. Meanwhile, my weekend's gone well. I've had the after-hours phone for work so I didn't leave the house at all (although I will in a few hours, when the library opens; they've gotten Wizard's Holiday in for my hold, and I can do the grocery shopping then). It's been a very peaceful and pleasant weekend.

I did the laundry yesterday, including some of the blankets, and finished up with the rest of the blankets this morning (the last is in the dryer now). I woke up this morning just a bit after 7 - which of course, was really a bit after 6 - wide awake. When did I become a morning person?

I've gotten some character work done; the druid for the Tuesday night game has been completely updated, and in a fit of annoyance that his sheet took up a minimum of three pieces of paper, I created a print template designed to handle his stuff and cut it down to two. With spell notes under each spell, mind you. Very pleased with myself for that. Spent a lot of time hanging out online and chatting, reading LiveJournal, browsing the web.

Today, I have the other Tuesday-night character to update, some notes to write up on what happened last session, get the book from the library, do the grocery shopping, decide whether I'm going to try to wash the comforter today, take the trash out.... Hmmm. I think that's actually it on the must-do tasks, though I'd like to get out in the yard a bit. I might even take the camera out, which I've not done this weekend (but I do have some photos from the past week or a bit longer, that I've been poking through, and I'll probably upload a couple later today).

Having talked about getting them online, of course, the easiest thing was to just do so. So here are the two I uploaded:

Ahem. Yes, the library had Wizard's Holiday in for me today. I think I'll keep it a bit longer...and reread it. Yes, I've already finished it, and I didn't start until after 2, what with doing the grocery shopping before I came home, and I was doing other stuff during.

It's good, it's really good, there are some "whoah!" moments and one thing that mildly annoyed me, but I'll survive that, but I want the next book, please and thank you.

The comforter was washed, the library and grocery shopping were obviously accomplished, the other Tuesday-night character still needs updating and I didn't get out the camera or go into the yard. And, as I'm now reminded by my to-do stack, I have bills to pay. Cheery. But, I am well-gorged mentally on a good book.
