A day and other musings.

Work today was good, though I was a dork. We had a cake to celebrate a coworker's son - some time after his birth, enough for them to be rested. And I had a piece. Even tho' I could not find my lactaid pills. Real cream frosting, check. Went home a couple hours early and finished up the day from home. Sigh.

Have some notes on ideas for Deliria - not plot/characters, legacies and wyrds - that I want to write up at some point. They make sense right now only if you are me, and that only just.

Finished The Wood Wife. I need to reread the first 100 pages or so to get what it's like in one gulp, and reread the rest of it slowly to see what images I missed, as it finally pulled me in too far for the other ideas to pull me back out. I am so very glad this book was recommended. So very very pleased with it.

And now, having stayed up only a few minutes past my bedtime, I go sleep. *grins*
