I hope everyone had a lovely holiday; I certainly did. I look forward to the new year as well.

I spent today vegging, reading, playing lots of World of Warcraft, getting caught up on +jobs at Eph (still a couple to be handled, but they need input from people who are not yet back from holiday vacation), and doing the household chores that remained to be done (which was, basically, anything that should have been done since, oh, Wednesdayish). The bills are paid, the checkbook's balanced, my personal budget has been updated, the laundry is done, the dishes are mostly done (we made more dirty dishes, ack!), etc., etc. Still have to take the trash out but that's for tomorrow morning.

World of Warcraft is wonderful fun, and it's horribly addictive. I blame Scott for getting me addicted to it, but it's hard to call it "blame" when it's so bloody much fun. It stays fun long past when EverQuest didn't because EQ was very hard to play beyond levels 10-15 without grouping. EQ got progressively more annoying; WoW either doesn't, or starts the process at a later level (certainly possible). Been taking lots of screenshots. Ought to do something with them at some point. But for now it is time for me to take off to bed. Work in the morning; alas, the long weekend is no more. But it was a lovely one.
