I didn't go to the Gardens this morning - I was kind of hoping not to since that was what I was going to do if Hyjal (the server Scott and I play World of Warcraft together on) was still down. Scott and I normally play some weekend mornings and yesterday was mostly a bust, the server eventually going down enough times to make me give up (wise, as it turns out; it was still down at 9 pm last night). This morning it was up and behaving normally although I logged on to find the rollback had dumped me right in the middle of some aggro mobs. Fortunately, I ran fast...just barely fast enough.

At any rate, we had a good time playing. Not our primary characters but our secondaries - undead - because I really need to boost my level some over there. We'll push them toward 20 (they're 16-17 now I believe) and then stop there, I think is the plan.

I've done a couple loads of laundry and still need to pay the bills. I've spent a little bit of time reading books (poetry, mostly) and a fair bit more reading LJ and other things on the web (but mostly LJ). I also did a run to Costco for more garbage bags, which we needed; and I went to the library to return my current books and pick up a new set. This finally reminds me of why I always check out so bloody many books that I must renew some of them: because sometimes, as in this case, I don't like one or several of the books. I took quite a stack back and had only read a couple. To be fair, that included a pair by de Lint that aren't so much "don't like" as "augh, too much by this author in a short period of time, I can't take any more." I'll probably get those two again...later. Lots later, probably.

Overall, it's been a pretty good weekend. Next weekend, I'll try to get back to the Gardens again, though. I hate to let it go more than two weeks in the spring - they're so pretty in the spring, and they change relatively quickly as to what is in bloom. Who knows, maybe I'll even decide to use the camera rather than just hauling it about. :)
