Lately, my allergies have been letting me sleep through the night again, more often than not (or, if they've woken me, have not been waking me so thoroughly I remember it). This is a good thing, and I am very pleased with it, and I want the whine below to be understood in the context of "this is much better, I will take it over waking in the middle of the night ANY day" - I just don't happen to like it, either. :P

So this morning I wake up, and I immediately discard the notion of wearing my contacts, because my right eye is gummy from allergies - first time in a while but then, I sat with the computer-room window open for hours yesterday. Of course, I also took a shower before bed, and you'd think that would help, but....

So, I am now wearing glasses, my right eye is itchy and unpleasant, the skin around both my eyes is itchy/vaguely sore, my forehead and the bridge of my nose itches, and the line of my jaw itces. So does my back and the back of my neck on occasion so far.

Wonderful. I never was good at not scratching, as a child. I am still not good now, but I am working at it. Sigh. Grrr.

Probably going to go sit in the library and do some reading later. Later, because they won't open until 1:30 today. I suppose I should have done that yesterday, when they had longer hours, but I didn't.

So, for those who attempted or want to attempt this meme about identifying songs, I've listed artists behind the cut for the songs not yet identified.

Artists )

With the exception of #4, I would class the unsolved ones as obscure in some degree even when the artist is not.

I'll post the answers tomorrow or Tuesday, most likely.
