1. Have you ever been to the emergency room?
Yes. Dog bite, earring, nail in palm of hand, burn, massive asthma attack.... I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple, knowing me.
2. What's the worst pain you've ever had?
I'm not sure. I don't have a great memory for pain (probably fortunately), though I'm quite quite whiny about it when it's occurring most of the time. I'm going to go with: Second-degree burn on bottom of foot. Particularly when accidentally stood upon before fully healed. (I suspect the burns on my backside when I was younger may have also qualified but, blessedly, I was young enough I don't remember that episode personally now.)
3. If you could choose your doctor, do you prefer someone of the same or opposite sex?
Same. It's not a big deal but it is a small comfort factor for certain exams. Barring those exams, I don't really care. (Observation: which means, 'same for GP' basically. Could care less about the gender of most specialists, such as my allergist.)
4. Do you take vitamins?
Yes.
5. Would you prefer to go to the doctor, the dentist or go sky diving?
YUCK. I'll take the doctor, though. Best chance of escaping unscathed. (Dental cleaning is painful for me, so pretty much if I need to be at the dentist, I'm screwed. And thanks, I'd rather not be doing any sky diving. *shudder* Fear of heights does not go well with that idea.)
