Some things I am thankful for:

You, my friends and family. Including those of you who aren't reading this. :)

And as a specific part of that, my parents. I got really, really good ones. And somehow they put up with having been handed me! Seriously, love you both very much, and still grateful for the wonderful anniversary cake.

Fall leaves.

The smell of the ground and the pavement in a good rain. The clean smell of a good rain.

The soft, lovely light of a cloudy day.

Living in an age when I am observing all of this from a well-heated house, while typing this post on the computer.

Allergy shots. Being able to pet and hold cats again, with the main nuisance being the cat (trust me, Babe's nervy and Basta drools...cute, but...) instead of the allergies!

Having plenty of food, including (gasp!) food that's mostly good for me and still tastes good.

My wonderful coworkers, most of whom won't ever see this. I'm lucky to work with the people I do, and for the company I do, and I am very glad not only to have a job, but to have a good job doing something that matters, with good people. I'm very blessed in that.

Photography - I love my camera.

The soft light of a lovely candle. (Aside, since Christmas approaches: please do not think "oh, she likes candles!" and get me some as a gift. I don't quite have enough candles to light the city for a day, but sometimes it feels like it.)

Music. Laughter.

I've gotten, twice, a forward of an email with gorgeous photos, titled "How To Live Life". I like it very much. I figured I was probably not the first person to have the idea of uploading it, and I was right. Pretty much every page has ads (except one has annoying midi music - I have no idea if they have ads, I left before it finished displaying, as soon as the first bars sounded!). So, here is the one that has the pictures linked at the largest size (the ones in the page are smaller but you can click through to see them large if you want).
