That pet food recall I posted about is not just store brands, as I
initially had the impression. Iams, Science Diet, and others are on
the list. It's the "cuts in gravy" type. If you serve that type of
food in any brand - go back to my earlier post and check the link,
check if your brand is on the list.
SO glad our cats eat the pate, and I'm still deeply wary of it. I'd go
to dry food only, except, well, Basta needs the soft. I hope it
doesn't extend to the pate later, I really hope it doesn't.
(Presumably if the same ingredient they're looking at were used in
both, they'd have recalled both, though. I hope that means it's okay.
And I probably DID feed the cats some of this - but only 1-2 cans.
Basta appeared to have more trouble with the cuts than with the other,
since she doesn't chew either, so I dropped the cuts after only 1-2
cans.)
