Answer in comments - anonymous is fine, or you can use OpenId if you're familiar with it (Facebook login won't work tho).
- Any suggestions for fund raisers that you think would bring in money from parents? From the community?
- If/when another raffle is done (whether this year or next), which businesses would you like to see donations from? What themes would you like to see for baskets?
- One I'm considering suggesting: How would you feel about the YMCA doing a partnership with a local business where a percentage of profits for a given time frame were donated to the YMCA? (Generally, in my experience from other venues, this would be a few hours.) What local business(es) would you like to see this from? What sorts of fund raisers would you be able/willing to volunteer to help with, or what types of resources? What sorts of volunteering? Note that these are my ideas, and I haven't checked with Robin whether all of these would be useful. For example (all of these are "potentially" and "subject to specific timing" of course!):
- Would/could you donate stuff for a raffle? Rummage sale?
- Would you be able and willing to call businesses to see if they would help with either raffle donations (when one is happening) or profit partnering (#3), if those are done? (If the YMCA supplied a business or two or three to contact, to volunteers, that is.)
- Would you be able and willing to help with administrative/paperwork/tracking related to a fundraiser, perhaps putting together lists in advance?
- Would you be able and willing to coordinate volunteers for a specific event, provided you were given a list of tasks to assign up and volunteers were contacting you?
- Would you be able and willing to help with physical setup/takedown for things that may require moving furniture or other items around in the center?
