It was a very good time. At first I was not thrilled by the rain as it was heavier than I'd expected it to be (that's supposed to be LATER this week, darn it!) but then we stopped to grab an elephant ear and hot cocoa...just in time for Scott to be in line and the rest of us to be at a table under a tent shelter when the rain REALLY started pounding down. Scott stayed in line, bless him, and about the time we finished the shared elephant ear, the rain let up to a very mild drizzle. It varied between drizzle and no rain for the rest of the trip, and we had a good time.
Way too chilly still, but that's part of ZooLights, really. Being drenched isn't, and we were happy to (just barely, and except Scott) avoid it.
