Okay, lunch wasn't so bad. They had clam chowder, and that plus the salad made a nice meal. And the waitress was nice, especially for someone whose job vanishes after today.
It's brighter out, now. Afternoon and a touch of sunshine through cloud, half-shadowed by the cloud, greyed by the sun protection on the windows, dusting the sills and a triangle of dark blue carpet.
And now, I should go back to doing something which has at least passing kinship with productive activity, I suppose.
