It's so gorgeous out there. It's absolutely pouring don rain, coming down so thick and pretty - not so thick as to hide the building opposite, but blur it slightly, yes.
And yet the clouds are thin, just to one side, not cleared, but thin, and daylight shines through them in the grey-white luster of light cut by water. The sidewalk is a sheen of white, with the dark outlines of trees painted on it; the road is much of the same look, though the reflections are more broken by the surface. The cars are almost shadowed compared to the brilliance of what they ride on.
I love this weather.
