I did some browsing on this subject about a month ago and found WinDVD, which seems to be the best out there. At least, the best for my needs, which includes a simple uncluttered play window :P
I've had a few problems with it not going to the next track, but I think that might be a bug on the DVD in question. Unfortunately I have to eject/reinsert to get it to start again.
