I'd like more of it, but it's been nice. I got to scene Satha, and Zulaikh, and Jemmael, all three.
Alariel is now officially retired. I'll miss her, in a way, the troublesome thing; but she was basically unplayable, by the end. People were too accepting of her I'm-cute-and-adorable schtick, in some cases even after learning she was really about a century old (despite appearing 8 or 10), and that she was very very perceptive about others' reactions.
Dude. You're being manipulated. Hello.... Well, apparently she was a better manipulator than I knew. She hasn't been in play much the past year. I think if I did her now, I could play her better, so that the tension held and she was more fun for others - and so the Cute was well-conveyed but still not all-encompassing.
For a first character on that site, she wasn't bad. And I really am fond of her backstory, but I won't do that type of character again for a long while if ever; it was too easy for her to get trapped, grow static, become boring. Once she did, it was difficult for me to lever her out, because of her nature. My other characters are more dynamic, fortunately. They'll last longer.
I played more of Dungeon Siege (still enjoying, very glad I have it), did some laundry, hauled some boxes up to store in the under-eaves area with Scott's help (books heavy).
I've had the pager almost my full week, I give it over to someone else tomorrow, and the thing hasn't gone off yet.
The pasture is green, but there are hints of reddish brown and yellow from the various grasses out there. Very, very pretty. With the windows open we get a lovely cross breeze and I am pleasantly surprised that my allergies don't seem to act up all that much when we do so.
My personal email is finally on the laptop as I had intended to do several months ago. The desktop is once more hooked up to the inkjet printer, and it's working.
I found my myrtlewood perfume again - I love that scent, I absolutely love it.
And the computer room is full of stuffed animals. Or at least, my side of it is. Squirrel on the Mac's mouse pad, beanie baby cat on the left PC speaker, small plush white tiger on the right speaker; large plush white tiger on the shelf behind the laptop, curled up white cat (not really a normal stuffed animal, but definitely not a live one) on the shelf above that, between scanner and printer, and a plush black cat on the windowsill.
The windowsill cat will have to move, or the blinds won't come down, of course. But I couldn't figure out wehre to put it.
If the weather reports still look good, I should try to get deck-treatment stuff this week. While the weather holds, would be a good time to reseal it.
I'll probably forget again, but we'll see.
Tomorrow I'd like to go to the Japanese Gardens after work, if I get out with enough time. I wanted to go Friday but I had the after-hours phone, so it seemed a bad idea.
