All morning. They're working on it now, at least, now that they're convinced it really is the building A/C and not, say, the thermostats, our imaginations, etc.
This resulted in my sending an email explaining that the standalone A/C in the lab had been turned to a heat setting, to melt the ice, which it acquired while trying to keep the lab cool enough without help. As a consequence, all unnecessary computers, the color copier/printer, and all monitors are off in the lab in an effort to keep it bearable. The good news is that the standalone A/C is not heating the lab up much....
...because it's heating the 3-inch ice pack on top of its grill, instead. *sigh* I love how it ices up when it gets too cold, really I do.
Meanwhile, I'm actually starting to be hungry despite the heat. I don't think I can bear to eat the sliced pork roast cold, and hot would be a bit much yet, though. Bother.
I am mostly amused. I got to defrost the ice pack on the A/C. Again. That's either absurd and annoying, or it's funny; and frankly, I'd rather laugh, it's more fun.
