Today is, overall, better than yesterday so far. I have gas in my car (thank you, Scott), I knew I had no good cards so I made my lunch (I suppose I could have gone to the bank for money, but I'm supposed - to my mind - to be making and bringing lunch anyway), and I'm basically good for the day.

I'm getting things done; my boss's boss is up here for meetings and brought donuts, which is cool.

I had a change I was tentative about but thought was okay, which was confirmed as good. A bit more testing and I can make some update checkins to clean up some of the compile problems.

Now, if only the bureaucratic side of things got done as well as I'd like. Spent a while updating things in the activity-tracking system, or notifying team members to do so. It's really nice that you fixed whatever-it-was but if you don't mark it fixed, it may be no one will bother to test it for a while and find out.

I have a fairly lengthy to-do list for today. But I think half of it is actually really quick tasks, so it may not be that bad to get it done.

And thank you to all my online friends who put up with my general moodiness for the bit of last night when I was home and online. Meep.
