We cleared all our stuff out of the storage facility and are no longer paying for it (they were glad to get a 5x10 back, I was glad to not be paying for space we didn't need any more, so it works). Other than that I've been home all day, preparing for the trip....
...by packing, by paying bills, and by cramming in as much "hang-out-with-friends" and "have-fun" time as I can. It's not that I can't have fun while I'm at a client site. But I won't be able to get on my mushes (I had a marvelous scene today, just marvelous, followed by a discussion of the implications of the character's development that resulted in rethinking her entire direction of development - surprising, but pleasing, me). I will probably have much more limited access to LiveJournal (I might post, but I'm less likely to read - normally I read every post that is made by everyone on my friends list, including most of what's behind an lj-cut, but I simply won't have that time this week - and the catchup would be horrifying, though I'll surely read back some when I get home).
I should be receiving email but it's questionable (due to the way my accounts are set up) if I'll be able to send it.
On the whole, though? All of this is very survivable. I lazed around. I played with my neopets (why is that site so addictive, anyway?) and made sure they were set for total no-owner-present-ness for a week. I read everything I could here, I talked to friends, I roleplayed, and I packed (and transferred camera pics so the camera would be clear - I doubt I'll fill all my memory card space but why take along pics of the office dog and make it more likely?).
And now I'm going to go drop a last few things in, on, or near the luggage, take a shower, and collapse into bed. When the alarm goes off, I'll be running.
