Scary. A whole day without posting.

I went to the Gardens yesterday to relax; the irises are in but, of course, at 9 in the morning were not very open. Still, I saw them. Some things a camera can't catch - the smells of the place in the early morning, after a night that held a little rain. Minty here, floral there, soft and cool and clean.

Then I did the shopping, and vegged a lot. I think my brain was mostly turned off. In the evening, I did the laundry (always nice to have something to wear to work, after all) and then scened with a friend. The scene was much fun - my brain had come back by then.

Today I get the after-hours cell phone, for a week.

I think I live in fear.

And one should never be very productive after returning from a trip. Especialy if it was a business trip. 8^)

*G* Sort of my feeling. The down time was really, really nice.

So was the scene. I'm so glad I had my brain back.

God, I used to hate being "on call"... they have been trying to get me to carry a pager for years now... I resist and luckily no one pushes the issue. I like leaving work at work these days.
