I got a fair bit done at work today, unfortunately it was mostly administrative stuff. Tomorrow I need to get a bit of coding done and then move it into a client site - I really think we can clean up several of their issues but I'd like some testing first.
One of my newest employees is really coming along in terms of the tools. It's what I expected from him - he has the experience he should pick things up like this - but it's still gratifying to see it. Sometimes experience can hobble you, if you see what you expect to. He seems to be avoiding that, and I approve.
Came home almost on time, in the end. Of course, yesterday I worked long, so I'd meant to come home early, not "not very late", but it works, more or less. The after hours cell has not yet rung this week.
I didn't roleplay with anyone tonight, but I had a piece of action that was, basically, my character alone that I wanted to write out and that was quite as fun. Now I have it for reference, and have shared it with the person running that game.
I'm pleased. Tired, but pleased.
