Long day. Long, long day.

I had to come back to work last night at 8:20 or so and got home at 11:30ish. Needless to say I'm pretty tired today, especially since I didn't sleep perfectly (though it was a lot better than the night before last, when it was too hot even sprawled in front of the tornado fan).

Sure sign I'm tired: I finished all my snacks + lunch before 11. My body's demanding energy and, in the absence of sufficient sleep, it would apparently like extra food and maybe some caffeinated soda (which I have not had; I could buy some of the office supply, however, I don't need a cranky stomach to go with the rest of my day).

And, which I really wish I could fix, I forgot my sweater today. It's very hard in this weather to remember it, however, the office? Is Air Conditioned. As in, 90s yesterday, AC was turned off at 6 pm, the office was still tolerable (barely) at 11:30. As in, pardon me, I didn't sign up for Antarctica trips....

What the heck. I'm getting stuff done. Poor M. is still tracking yesterday's issue; I've been told to focus on an estimate that's badly needed (I was supposed to do the hour or two of reading for it last night, but....).

Why not do what I always did?: Leave a sweater in your office.

Mine was not often needed, but indispensible when it was. [Got more use in the old days of raised floor computer rooms with humongous Liebert coolers.]

It's a thought, but I don't often find sweaters I like; right now I've only one I'm fond of. Having it always at work would not be ideal. Maybe I need to do some shopping, though.... (I have a tendency to walk out of house or office without realizing if the sweater is off or on, in average weather, tho!)
