Left work after 8 pm. Got a lot done, though, in the end, which is why I was there for so long. Driving home I stopped to get gas, and this SUV was stopped at the gas station also. He had little toy poodles (three, that I saw - white, black, tan) in there with him, and they barked at the gas station attendant but made no move to bite, lick, or really go for him, even though the most hyper one (the white) was on the driver's lap, standing on the window.

The attendant came back with mini dog biscuits, and each of the dogs got a couple, much to their pleasure and the owner's (and my!) amusement. It was very cool. Cute dogs, way too hyper. The white one just about went out the window several times, except the owner was not about to let that happen, even though it was open wide enough.

On the whole, I'm tired. But...I'll be home until Saturday. I coudl never have finished the work I did for the site going live at the end of September, if I'd had to come home and do laundry and pack. So...yeah.

On the other hand? Tired. I felt rather sickish/stuffed up this morning and wished that I could take the day off sick, so what did I do? Stayed in the office for twelve hours (discounting walks down the hallway to the restroom, I suppose)....

Gah. Came home, read a bit more of a book, handled one request I'd already taken. I'm trying to do a couple more to feel useful, but I may have to give up on that. I'm achy rather than in pain, but couple that with tired and the sinuses are winning....
