For the longest time, I haven't used a separate keyboard and mouse with the laptop because I didn't have anywhere to hook them in unless it was a USB set. I like the laptop keyboard - the action's very easy and it feels nice - and the pointer device built in is fine.

Problem: At work, they sit on a desk that is, no matter HOW I adjust my office chair, too high for me, resulting in my elbows angling up & wrists flexed to reach. Notgood.

So I have a usb adapter for keyboard and mouse now (which I've started using at home for my glidepoint and a keyboard I got for the purpose). I asked for a mouse and keyboard, at work, but we were out. So they ordered them in for me.

I asked yesterday and got them today. Basic, normal little mouse and keyboard, nothing special, but I'm happy - I now have the keyboard on my lap, where the angle is just about right - if I sit back from the desk which is fine by me.

The keyboard has a nice easy typing action, too. Extra points for that. :)
