Left work at about 5. Stopped at Powell's. Home now. Considered getting key things for tomorrow done. Wanted to cry at the thought and decided that equalled "no!" There's a limit to how hard I can push myself.
At Powell's, I saw a bunch of birds gathering on the electric wires. When I came back out, they were still gathering, and by the noise I'd say starlings. They all started up and wheeled and flew away as I was putting my books into the car. Did the wire reach critical mass? It was really cool to watch, though.
On the way home, passed a motorcycle cop waiting in the V between an offramp and the freeway. Saw him pull out behind me, and around, into the middle lane. Dropped back automatically and thus had a nice opening for him when he pulled over the red car that had passed me. My lane was going under the speed limit, so I'm not really sure what that guy was doing, but it must've been enough for the stop.
Other than that, uneventful trip home.
