The usual clickable pictures. The fog this morning was beautiful. When I got up, it looked like this:

Early morning fog

But as the sun rose, it turned, well, lavender, as I said. And my camera actually caught the color as I remember it, too:

Lavender fog at dawn      Lavender fog at dawn

Then I drove to work. This curtailed my picture-taking, but didn't entirely stop it. There was no one behind me when I saw this, so I slowed down and went for it. While it's not technically the best photo (hey, I took it one handed without looking at the viewscreen), it captures the mood nicely.

Foggy morning road

Overpass, with fog beyond it. This amused me, and once more I was going really slow, now with people behind me. (The traffic just in front of me was almost at a dead halt. I was not moving much faster. I saw no reason to worry about the distance as, at my speed, I would eventually close it anyway.)

Fog beyond the overpass

I tried to get several shots from the traffic light near work (while waiting and waiting and waiting to make my left turn), but, none of those worked out very well.
