Soooo...it got worse. Trust me, I didn't sleep well last night; I kept waking up/stirring/hurting. Eventually got up and added a tylenol, and slept for a whole hour straight. Then the alarm went off.

Even with the tylenol, I'm still too warm or too cold, my throat hurts like blazes, my neck is stiff, my head is stuffed up, and of course, I'm tired. Oh, and the stuffed-up nose or something is making my sense of balance mildly questionable. The lovely idea of teaching a full-day class like this is not improving my day, so I figured, with this throat, I'd better try talking.

In a nice, subdued tone of voice, I can manage anywhere from one to four sentences before I start gagging on the feel of speech in my throat. And I'm sure that addressing a group of 20 in a nice subdued tone of voice will work well, now, won't it? I can speak decently in a whisper, though.

Called my boss. He's going to see if he can substitute other people in, but, he won't know until about 8:15 in all likelihood. He may call me then and say he needs me over there.

Ugh. All I want to do is go back to bed. Instead, I'll be getting ready, just in case I have to go teach a class of 20 people while feeling like this. Watch me be just thrilled, here....

Edit: the system architect is taking my class. I get to go back to bed. Whew.
