Some people get relatives (neighbors, people from six miles down the road they've never met) who give them zucchini.

I suppose that works, if you like zucchini. I don't dislike zucchini, I simply am not used to the zucchini-ing culture.

But I know the general syndrome. My mom does it. But with fruit. This is good. Fruit sounds much nummier to me than zucchini.

It was blackberries. Then it was plums. Now it's seedless green grapes.

A fair amount of seedless green grapes. Mom, are you sick of grapes, or is the vine bearing that heavily? Eek. But yum! Thank you!

They also gave us their old TV stand. It's a short, simple thing, actually simpler than the one we already had that now holds the Mac - in other words, it's exactly as I remember it. It will hold a TV setup, and a few videos below, and that's really all I need for it to do, so it's all good.

My parents are wonderful.
