Not pleased about the back yard, where nothing got done, basically. I need to do that and the fact that I like it least of all my chores means it gets little attention. However, here is what I did get done today:
Dishes.
With Scott, attached the second bookcase to the wall in the library.
Constructed third bookcase up to point of attaching the back (we can do that right before we put it up, as both tasks are easiest with two people).
Went into the craft room and cleaned the area nearest the window, which has been bugging me for a while. Found a lot more fabric in the process. I really must actually attempt sewing again, I have too much stuff appropriate to it not to.
Just barely started on a beading project. Then got bored and went off to do the several items above. But at least I started. Another area I have tons of supplies, only this one I'm good at and loved to do at one point.
Finished reading a library book; checked on the status of my others. Ack. I had four holds out, three placed yesterday. Of the three yesterday, I expected two right away (the third was on a book that was completely checked out, no copy due for about two weeks). The fourth hold has been on for months and is for Lackey's Joust. I was something like 5 of 18 or so when I checked it earlier in the week. Now, all four books are in transit to me. I guess that means I'm reading...starting with the Lackey (which I'm now hold 1 of 17 on), then moving through the others as they'd be easier to renew, or get back if I had to return them.
Folded and put away all the laundry, even the towels.
And I am just about to pay the remainder of the monthly bills (I think this is the last set of them, anyway). I think I'll take any remaining time as quiet "me" time after that. And I want a long, hot bath for once, too...hmm. That could work. :)
