...with a supposed Nokia commercial or something on it, involving a cat and a ceiling fan.

That's not funny, it makes my stomach turn, even though the cat was only thrown (blunt trauma) by the thing. Ugh. I did NOT need that in my email, least of all my work email.

If it's any comfort, the 'commercial' shows up on snopes.com. I can't get into the site right now, though. They did say that it's not a real commercial and that Nokia's Australian division has clearly indicated this. I believe snopes said something about it possibly being a creation of some ad agency that never got any closer to the airwaves than the initial draft being passed around the office.

I didn't figure it was likely to be real. But that doesn't make seeing it any less horrifying/painful.

Whoever did come up with it, is SICK.

My housemate made me watch that stupid thing.
I didn't bother trying to explain why I didn't find it funny. I just grunted and walked away. She was laughing her ass off.
Why people find such things funny are beyond me. I'm sure the cat didn't think it was very funny.
