Our mandatory Saturday for tomorrow is cancelled. Every key item is either fixed, or assigned. Even though it's over a week yet till the target date.
We earned our way out of it. This team, every one, is just incredible, and they've done marvellous work.
We were supposed to get free pizza tomorrow, so people were mock-whining about it...only to find out the release team had ordered in free pizza today beforehand. That was really cool, as it made it more than just "no Saturday" and into a celebration (and we involved the whole office, not just the team). And ice cream bars for dessert.
That was lousy, lousy, for my attempt at healthy eating. But BOY was it nice.
