Plan: go to nursery today. Get ground cover, plant. Tomorrow, go to Bimart, Costco (Costco is up near Bimart, and is also a fool's errand on a Sunday afternoon - though Saturday is worse - compared to a Monday morning). Get various items, including soil to amend my soil with on the upper area, which is on sale (hence my decision to get it at Bimart).

Practice: go to nursery today. Get assistance finding something that is neither too delicate nor too hardy. Discover that it, like the stuff for the upper slope, needs good drainage. I think it might survive the back yard unamended, but I'm not sure. Buy anyway, take home, go immediately to Bimart, get that stuff today. Sigh.

On the plus side, that's planted out. I'm going to go out and do the upper slope in a bit...maybe. It wasn't planned for today, but I do have everyhting I need for it, and plenty of daylight left. (I almost forgot to wait until 4 - which is what was 3 yesterday - when the back yard would be cool enough. Stupid daylight savings time!)

It's a start, anyway. I really should go do that upper area, but not just yet. I'm feeling lazy, and there's still full sun on the opposite slope, so I've got time.
