Work was stressful, the Tuesday night game rocked. I'll hopefully write up something in Astera's voice at some point, but the highlights were Oak healing the plants over 1/4 the vineyards (devastated during the orc attack; many are past saving but many are not), Lord Highhold offering to buy out all their contracts to save them in return for some considerations (good chance he can pull it off and spare them negotiating out of it; I swear he's going to rule the entire area by buying off people, and he makes a profit every time), a battle with a giant preying mantis (Gareth got the killing blow in, 19 points of cutting damage in a single blow in GURPS - with some help from the NPC mage who upped his strength to 18 for a round or two...). Astera mostly worked with the cat fur stuff and whatnot. We got another NPC in our party (so back up to 1 NPC, let's see if we can keep this one alive - we promptly nearly got him killed in the giant insect battle...).
It was fun. It was gloriously, hyperactively, busily fun. :)
And now I am going to go try to fall into bed anyway.
