I am really relaxing and enjoying this. Most of it. This morning we spoke to another contractor (painting, this time - I can tell I will see far too many of the joys of home ownership this year). Then Scott and I went into Portland, walked around, walked through Saturday Market. There are pictures of Portland at [livejournal.com profile] bn_kyrielle now. The feed has only the first 8 of the 10 photos. The other two will show up when it refreshes, I was still uploading them when LJ checked the feed, I imagine. None are of the Market, I mostly did not take photos there as many artisans are uncomfortable with that and anyway, it makes walking around a pain for other customers. There were some neat things but mostly it is the same old same old. I remember too well what was there before, and recognize it again and again; it is still pretty but less wondrous.

Then we came home. I've been roleplaying - a fun scene but now on hold - and reading. Since I'd finished the McKillip, I have started on Ursula LeGuin's The Telling which, I think, I saw recommended at some point. I can no longer remember where, however, nor who recommended it. So far I find it interesting and a bit confusing; like the main character, I am faced with the pieces of the puzzle rather than the whole of the answer, and I wonder where it will lead and what the story is about. There are some obvious themes - I'm halfway through, if I didn't have obvious themes by now, I'd be annoyed - but I'm still not sure quite which way it will go. This is a good thing, on the whole.

Oh, and I added another syndicated feed from buzznet - [livejournal.com profile] bn_ozone9999 - who takes gorgeous pictures.

I'll be roleplaying again tonight, and of course, working on revised +help files since I decided to not just update the few misspeaks and code changes we know of, but reorganize it for accessibility. We'll see where that goes.

But for now, where I am going is to the grocery store.
