The sun is above the trees to the east, over the pasture, not quite in view from where I sit by the window. The pasture and the trees are a vivid, jewel-green in its light. The clouds above the pasture are a gentle tan-grey.

And it's raining. The rain is coming down outside my window, and over the pasture, touched golden by the early morning light. After admiring it for a moment, I realized that this is the weather that spawns rainbows, and ran to the other side of the house to see if I could see one - and I could. Beautiful, beautiful.

Of course, the interesting thing is, the sun is shining golden on me and it's raining here. Which means, in theory, if they look - right now we're someone's rainbow.
