So far, so good. The laundry is getting done, the bills are paid, the rebate forms are sent in, and I'm sitting in the AC, vegging.

pheon and pheontoo) stopped by earlier, to say hi and to see the house before it changes color again (if it does). I gather they like the color as well. I should have thought to show them the various colors we are considering in its place, but of course I did not. Mom found some neat soap - goat milk soap! The world is a strange but neat place.
I still have to go through my photos from yesterday and see if I want to post any. Failing to find energy for that.
With my new setup (and power cord hooked to the USB card), I can burn straight from the external hard drive to the DVD/CD burner. Which is nice to know. What's not nice is that shortly thereafter, my laptop did a spontaneous shutdown from heat. In an air-conditioned room. Oy. So, must keep that in mind, I suppose. (Speaking of AC, my parents pointed out hat I hadn't mentioned getting the second AC! This is so. Oops. I thought I had. Scott picked it up on Friday after I called him, because Fry's was having the sale for $300 again (although Dad, seeing the box, says it is a different brand). So we now have one for the computer room also. It has a flat top, unlike the first we bought, which means it was promptly pressed into service as a table as well. :)
