I can so understand, now, the technical folks in my company who let the bug-reports pile up. They really feel futile after a while.

I've got four I can't resolve because the client who reported them has yet to call me back (after two calls, have to make another one today) about the fact that I can't get in to their system, to do anything!

I've got another one I don't know what to do about because the description is insufficient, but when I call the client on the listed number, I get a busy signal. Well. Whoop-de-dee. Though, from the sound of that bug report, it's Client Doesn't Know System again....

Why they put someone in charge of it, who was never apparently trained in it, by our personnel on their money or by their personnel, I have NO idea.

I just want to code my new features, work on the code bugs I can identify, and get to my vacation.

I sorely need that vacation. And access to the system with all the bugs! BEFORE the vacation, jeesh!!
