Pictures from yesterday, linked by topic (all are on Flickr):

The Japanese Garden's shuttle (painted with irises). Stairs at the gardens (many pink-flowering bushes).

Leaves against the sky.

United States National Bank in Portland (for the architecture), and a detail of same.

An oddity I can only class as bicycle sculpture.

A picture of a used clothing store, with color removed from everything around it - yes, this is me playing iwth photoshop....

Another building which, with typical me fashion, I did not try to identify.

And, for those who have not seen it, a collection of images related to Powell's, the bookstore that is literally a city block in size. (Actually, since they have all their technical books at another location because of size issues, I would argue they are more than a city block....)
Exterior (not that great, being a city street with distractions)
Aisle of books (when will I learn to watch my light sources?)
two views of part of the interior
The map of the store.
