In yesterday's mail came the newsletter from the Japanese Gardens. Saturday morning, there will be a members-only tour there, which I shall likely go for. I wanted to go down this weekend in any case, because the irses should (according to the latest email info) be starting to bloom "sometime in the next two weeks" (sent last weekend). I haven't been able to make it out all this week - I was not about to touch it on Memorial Day weekend - so out this coming weekend and then (if the irises aren't in bloom yet, or not fully, which I suspect) the weekend after.
This will also let me get a photo that someone else asked for, from in the Rose Gardens, since they're handy. I only hope I don't forget, knowing me....
