Leavings. Or something.

Sunday night, the maple tree in the front yard dumped a ton of leaves. It doesn't look much more bare today, but rather more leaves have accumulated. My neighbor's yard is nearly clear. Lucky.

So tonight I actually raked up most of the leaves. I didn't bother with the elusive ones still going free because, frankly, that tree still has a good number of leaves to add to the pile....
