1.What is your favorite Christmas carol/song?
Christmas in the Northwest. (Which, I can find the CD that has it on Amazon.com ... but not here in the northwest. I'm amused.)
2.White lights or multicolored?
Yes.
3. Do you have a cut tree, live tree or an artificial tree?
Artificial. I have nowhere to plant a live tree, and no desire to kill a tree for my celebration, not to mention the nuisance they deal in terms of mess, fuss, and disposal. :)
4. Eggnog, mulled cider, or hot chocolate?
Hot chocolate. Or, none of the above and I'm equally happy.
5. Do you decorate your house with lights?
Nope. But I do enjoy looking at others that have been decorated!
6. Do you write a Christmas letter?
Not usually. But we did this year - since we'd gotten married.
7. Do you like receiving Christmas letters/photos?
Yes.
8. What is your favorite Christmas story/movie?
I'm not that big on Christmas stories. I think I'll stick with 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. It has long familiarity behind it, at any rate.
9. Have you ever made a gingerbread house?
Nope.
10. Poinsettias or holly?
Neither in my house; I do like poinsettias better.
11. Do you display a nativity scene?
Nope.
12. Do you bake Christmas cookies?
Nope. Sometimes I buy them, but not this year.
13. Ham or turkey?
Turkey.
14. In what languages can you wish someone a Merry Christmas (without cheating)?
English, Spanish
15. Do you know all the words to Jingle Bells?
No. I know some, but not all.
16. Do you put presents under the tree?
Yes, but not usually many - we don't focus on presents but there's always a little something there.
17. How do you eat a candy cane?
Generally, I don't. Those are decorations, not food. :)
18. What is your biggest holidays pet peeve?
Malls.
19. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
The lights/trees/beauty. The attempt to make things pretty, basically..
20. What was the best present you ever got for Christmas?
The time each year with my family, the warm memories.
