It's raining, it's pouring....

It's beautiful. It's coming down fairly heavily, it's lovely. I'm sure it will make my commute more "interesting" than it needs to be in a few minutes, but it's still lovely. *spin* Oregon in winter: we have our rain. I love the sweet sound of rain on the roof. Actually, that was my childhood; here, I hear the rain on the skylights and sometimes windows but not really on the roof. It's the right rhythm and feel though, so it "feels" right.

Put some skylights in! They do a lovely job! (Or just put more windows like the bathroom one, that jut out - bet they'd accomplish the same thing. Or she could just go sit in the car when it rains but somehow I doubt that's an acceptable option.)
