Getting stuff done is good. Getting stuff done is a plus. Today at work, I have:

1. Made several followup phone calls that needed to be made to various people within the company.

2. Called a potential candidate and indicated we would like to set up an interview; unfortunately, I got his answering machine, but the call has been made.

3. Written up a data dictionary for a sub-portion of our system, and sent it off to the person who needed to have it by the first of next month. This gives him three days to review it and tell me if it's useless to him. :) Though we did discuss the format before I began, so it should have sufficient data.

4. Contacted a client about a problem-report they filed. The report is non-urgent, which is fortunate; it appears to be my day for answering machines.

5. Answered several company-internal questions (technical and none) regarding this product.

6. Sent a new compile off to the training class to take care of a bug in the version they were training on. (Oops.)

7. Ate my lunch. (Okay, it's not really an accomplishent, except today I wasn't typing with the other hand when I did so!! *grins*)

8. Added a bit more to the routine I'm working on coding. (I'd love to test this, but I don't get data for testing till the end of next week. My goal is to have the whole program written by then, so that it can all blow up in my face! Er...I mean, so that it will take only minimal testing and tweaking to complete. Really I do.)

*giggles* I have one more email to answer, so I'm going to go do that, and write some more of that routine.

Aaaaie! And file my timesheet. Which is supposed to be in by 4 pm every day. 'Scuse, I have to race the 'where is your timesheet' note now....
