We were supposed to see snow above 500 feet today, so I wasn't
expecting to see any personally. When I got up this morning, Scott
told me it was snowing so I looked. That was a generous term, but it
was - tiny white blobs that melted as they struck. On the way to work
it kept doing it, so I was planning this post about how I got slushed
on.
Then it started snowing for real, big, fat, distinct flakes that took
a few moments to melt after hitting the warmth of the windshield.
Still not sticking to the road or anything, but decidedly snow. As I
walked into work, I got snowflakes on my coat and the strap to my bag -
and they stayed until the building heat melted them. It is still
snowing as I type this - still not sticking. Very pretty.
