At work. Just want to note that I do NOT like the forecast for the
rest of this week. Planning to take my laptop home tonight, so I can
work from home if the weather they said we'll have tomorrow actually
shows up. I would normally do this when snow is forecast but now,
instead of a gentle sense of nervousness and an awareness that I stink
at driving in snow (c'mon, I grew up in Oregon!), I feel an outright
dread. Definitely better to take the laptop home.
On the other hand, when I left last night I was deeply puzzled by an
issue I was supposed to look into, and when I came in this morning,
the second or third place I looked held an "a-ha!" clue and now I can
make progress on it. That's a good start to the
day.
