Today wasn't that bad, actually. I got a fair bit done at work and a few more things done regarding my parents' estate and such. (Not as many as I wanted to because I was miss space-case and didn't have some stuff I needed, with me. Sigh.)

But doing that, even though necessary, is stressful and draining. I don't want these things to be necessary....

So, this is a plea. Give me a hug. Tell me something positive. Share a funny link or a pretty photo or a fond memory (of anyone or any time). Something. Please?

*offers a virtual hug to anyone who can use one, as well*

::hugs:: If you'd like, I can e-mail you a link for our photos of Delia. I don't know if you'd find them cheering, but I usually do.

I took a trip to Arizona back in November, 2005. One of the most wonderful moments was spent at Gate's Pass watching the most glorious sunset I've ever seen in my entire life. This picture was taken just before sunset. It makes me happy to look at it and remember.

The icon for this comment was also taken that evening, when the sky was flooded with a brilliant display of red, yellow, and orange.

If you like, http://www.pennyandaggie.com/ is a really great webcomic, with shades of high school drama, but much funnier than high school itself. Well-written and well-drawn.

*further hugs for good measure*

When I was little, I was very fast. My grandma had a willow tree under which lived bunnies. The bunnies had a nest, of course, and produced baby bunnies. I would go out and try to catch the bunnies... but they were more fast than I was...

In the end, the babies would be chasing *me* around the tree...

And it's late and I have no grammar! Sorry!

I don't have anything to offer but a thank you and admiration. I've been so amazed and impressed with how you are handling everything that has been happening to you. I love how you refuse to even consider wallowing in the bad. Even when you might be tempted to your response is to ask for a hand up. That is so amazing and so impressive and so inspirational. Thank you and keep it up.

It is a tough thing to go through, but you are an inspiration.

Thank you for sharing your life with us, it makes me think of my parents every day, and the good life we had.

There is always a tremendous amount to do at first, but that kind of helps in a way.

Big hug from me, and lots of us are here for you.

A day late and a dollar short and all that but I am putting together something for you, if the finding-the-right-items fairies help. I can tell you what it is or it can be a surprise, your choice :)

I survived the Northridge Earthquake!

And someone in my LJ made me feel really good by saying that there's a reason that I'm still here.

Thank you for sharing so much of your parent's life and you and the kitties.
