kfrye, a link to a video on the KGW (local news station) web site showing cars trying to drive on a steep hill during the storm. Trying being the operative word....
Attempting to drive that stretch of road: not real bright. Attempting it after the evidence of the first guys to do so was present: really not bright. The people standing around outside as it all happens: *whimper*.
I stay home when it's like this. First, I'm not that great at driving in messy weather. Second, even if I were incredible, the other people here are on average not that great either. And then there are the places like that hill where I don't think even good skills will help much without traction devices, and maybe not even then.
